Two young wizards take turns at a telescope on top of a castle tower, stargazing under a smiling moon, a ringed planet, and a shooting star. Medium — great for kids.
A teal or deep navy sky sets the night mood, with the moon in pale gold and the ringed planet in coral or lavender stripes. The stone tower reads well in warm gray, and the two robes can be purple and burgundy so the young wizards stand apart from each other. A silver-gray telescope with a gold rim ties the whole scene up to the stars.
Fill the sky first — it is one big area and everything else sits in front of it. Leave the small stars white as you go, then touch each one with pale yellow at the very end. Color the cobblestone ground in two grays, alternating stones, to give the tower a storybook base under their feet.
