A waving elf boy in a star-topped hat beside a Christmas tree and wrapped presents. Medium — great for kids.
A wave beside the tree is a hello card waiting to happen: his star-topped hat in scarlet, the star in gold, his outfit in green with red trim, and the wrapped presents beside him in the same red as his hat. The tree can be a touch lighter than usual so his raised arm and grin stay the brightest part of the greeting.
Leave a clean margin at the top of the page and you can draw in a speech bubble or bubble-lettered Merry Christmas above the wave, turning the sheet into a card front. Keep the star on his hat for last and make it glitter. His free hand’s mitten, colored to match the presents, quietly balances the composition.
