One simple five-petaled flower on a tall stem with a few leaves — the easiest page in the set. Easy — best for toddlers.
One flower, one big decision: which color gets the petals? Red, pink, purple, and orange all look wonderful at this size, and there is no wrong answer. The center turns sunshine yellow, and the tall stem and its few leaves are the green of new grass. Chunky crayons cover the big shapes fast and stay satisfying.
Count the petals out loud together as each one gets its color — five is a friendly number to practice with. When the flower is finished, the empty page around it is an invitation: a crayon sun in the corner, a few grass strokes along the bottom, or a butterfly drawn in beside the bloom.
