A friendly alpaca visits the farmyard, with a big barn, a round hay bale, a wooden fence, and one very curious chicken. Medium — great for kids.
Farmyard scenes come alive with a classic red barn, golden hay bale, and warm brown wooden fence behind a white or tan alpaca. Make the curious chicken a bright accent in white with a red comb or in speckled brown, and keep the grass two shades of green so the farmyard floor does not look flat.
Start with the big background shapes first, barn and fence, then do the animals last so their outlines stay clean and important. A fun finishing touch for kids is adding light yellow strokes over the hay bale in different directions, which makes the straw look loose and scratchy instead of like a smooth round ball.
