Number 3 — three. The big double-curved 3 comes with three balloons to count and color. Trace the 3 down two dotted rows, write it solo on the blank row, and trace the word three to finish the sheet.
Three is two curves stacked on top of each other, a smaller one above and a rounder one below — little curve, big curve is a handy chant while tracing. Watch that the middle point comes back to the center line, which keeps a 3 from looking like a sideways W. Three balloons sit in a single row, a tidy one-two-three count.
Extension: balloons beg for strings, so draw three wavy strings hanging from the printed balloons and a hand holding them at the bottom. Then count things in threes around the room — three claps, three jumps, three books pulled off the shelf and stacked.
