A squirrel dashes along clutching an acorn, grass tufts flying at its feet. Medium — great for kids.
Motion feels stronger with contrast, so use a rich reddish-brown or deep gray for the running squirrel and a pale cream belly that flashes as it dashes. Make the clutched acorn golden brown with a dark cap, and color the grass tufts in two lively greens, light on the tips and darker at the roots near its feet.
Short, slanted strokes that lean in the direction of the run make the grass and fur look like they are flying. Add a soft gray shadow smudged under the feet to lift the squirrel off the ground. You can draw in a few speed lines behind the tail as an addition to boost the dashing energy.
