A cheerful squirrel with an open happy grin and bold fluffy tail. Easy — best for toddlers.
Chunky crayons in just three or four colors are plenty for little hands here. Try light brown for the body, a darker brown for that bold fluffy tail, and cream for the tummy, then add a happy pop of pink inside the ears. The open grin can stay white for the teeth, with a soft red for the mouth.
Big shapes mean toddlers can scribble happily and still stay mostly inside the picture. Help them pick one color for the tail and fill it with wide back-and-forth strokes, leaving small white gaps is fine. Finish by drawing a big smiling sun together in a corner as an addition, keeping the mood as cheerful as the grin.
