A squirrel with a big fluffy tail sits on a log, a few leaves scattered around it. Medium — great for kids.
Warm browns make a natural starting point here, with a medium gray-brown for the squirrel, a paler cream for its belly, and a darker brown worked into that big fluffy tail. Color the log in weathered tan and deep brown, then pick autumn shades for the scattered leaves — rust red, mustard yellow, and leaf green with a few orange edges.
Try short, flicking strokes on the tail to suggest soft fur instead of filling it in flat. Add darker lines along the log to show bark texture, and leave a tiny white highlight in the eye. If you want more depth, shade underneath the squirrel where it meets the log with a soft gray.
